Spring lawn care marketing material review.
With spring right around the corner, many of the members of the Gopher Lawn Care Business Forum are putting together their spring lawn care marketing material. Here in this discussion, you can see a post card design, both front and back, that one lawn care business owner put together and how he positions himself to stand out from other competing lawn care companies in his area.
He wrote “here is my new spring lawn care marketing material that I will be using as I go door to door and I will also post it on craigslist.
In my lawn care marketing I promote that I use all edibles in my sprays. Full organic, they take longer to kick in but, can be adjusted to last longer than normal over the counter chemicals. This is a big selling point in my area.
My lawn care tool box includes:
- White Vinegar
- Lavender Oil
- Red Pepper Spray (water and crushed red pepper) Concentrated like crazy!
- Ice Cream Salt
- Iodine - Depends on the needs of the lawn, breaks enzymes down quickly.
- A 24 gallon water transport container full of fresh rain water.
As you will see, in my lawn care marketing, I post a price because people LOVE to negotiate. So when they see a price, they feel they have the upper hand in the situation. I never go below 25$ for one time lawn mowings because it forces me to have to alter my route and that costs me additional gas.
The ad does include the phrase “Average family lot” which is no more than 1/3 acre in my area(s). I charge a flat rate of 50$ per lawn mowing per acre because I line trim it also. I offer more organic services and better quality than anyone in my area and the work I perform shines through.

Going door to door with my lawn care marketing material is a great way to reach out to new customers and then also having it posted on craigslist should help me reach them again and again.”
