I was thinking of offering a free service maybe or just plain old putting my slogan and my lawn care company name with a phone number on it. Anyone try 2 different kinds of signs to see what worked better?”

A second lawn care business owner said “I use lawn signs that offer free gutter cleaning with an annual lawn care contract. If you make this, use the word FREE at the top in big letters. It will grab the readers attention. With a free service offer at the top, have the company name a little smaller with a big phone number below.
If you are looking to put the lawn signs at busy intersections, it is best if you put them out there yourself. Although if you don’t want to, I have talked to a lot of companies that will distribute them. They will put out a certain amount of signs a day and at the end of the day pick them up. And do the same the next day for a certain period in time. I shoot to put out about 75-100 signs in my areas when I use this lawn care marketing method.
As far as sign color goes, I’d suggest a basic red signs with white text. I’d suggest going with a design like this.”
