When you run a lawn care business over time you tend to develop a structure for processing new callers into becoming lawn care customers. You create different steps to follow in order to improve productivity. This system you create can then be passed on to new employees with the result of having them easily duplicate the process with as little thinking on their part as possible. Simply follow the steps and everything will work.
One of our forum members created a questionnaire that he uses during the intake
process of new lawn care customers. He wrote “after talking to a potential customer that I will be giving a lawn care estimate for a lawn renovation next week, a bunch of questions popped into mind and I thought, I need to make a questionnaire that I could use with future¬† potential customer. This is what I came up with.”
He shared this lawn care customer questionnaire with all the Gopher Lawn Care Business Forum members. Some of the questions include:
- What sort of lawn care program have you used in the past?
- Have you ever used any chemical treatments on your lawn?
- What sort of soil do you have? Is it sandy or other?
- Have you had a soil test recently?
- Do you have any pets?
You can download this lawn care customer questionnaire on this page at the Gopher Lawn Care Business Forum.
