Lawn care business flyer discussion and review.

There are many different ways you can create a lawn care flyer to promote your business. As you are looking to develop your own unique hook and style, it can be helpful to see what others are doing. Here is great flyer example that was posted on the Gopher Lawn Care Business Forum. As you can see, this flyer uses the marketing angle of grabbing the readers attention with the question ‘Does your lawn care company actually care?’

The designer wrote and said “one of my commercial lawn care customers is an auto shop. I maintain the lawn for them and in the waiting room, I have a framed advertisement with a business card holder hanging on the front. It is in a great location on the counter in the customer lounge. Since installing the display, it has gained me some new business.

The business cards are attached to the bottom right of the flyer, covering the small company logo. I included the logo on the flyer in case the cards go empty before I get back to refill them.

I really want the emphasis the message on the flyer. If they interested, they will be able to take a card from the display. The heading is designed to grab their attention and get them to read the rest. Take a card and visit the website.”

I think this is a fantastic lawn care flyer. You are putting many design element into place that are important to gain a readers attention. First off, you are using a headline that is designed to grab their attention. You are also displaying your own image to make the flyer personable.

Other variables you could experiment with on your flyer would be to instead of having your business name in the middle with a big font, you could utilize that space to entice the reader to call by promoting a limited time offer. Maybe something like FREE Soil Analysis and then maybe a % off your first service or something like that.

I would then put all your contact information at the bottom and make it smaller. In my view it doesn’t matter if it is covered up by the business card because your contact information isn’t going to get them to grab the flyer. The headline and the offer is. Once they take it, they will be able to read at the bottom who to contact.
