Advertise your lawn care business on garbage cans.

A lot of areas won’t let you put out a yard sign on your property to promote your lawn care business, but what if you put a sign on your garbage cans to promote your lawn care business? This could be a great way to build out your routes around current customers.

You could also possibly put signs on your customers’ trash cans and give them something like a free annual aeration or something like that.

I never see ads on garbage cans and because of that, they might stand out.

Maybe you could allow each customer to use a can of yours that said yard waste on the cover and was used for yard waste? You could then take the can back when their lawn care contract ends.

The great thing about this is garbage cans will be on the street usually twice a week and people driving to work in the morning and coming home in the evening will see it.

To do this really cheaply you could create a stencil out of card board that you can use with a can of spray paint.
